To Create a Dead Joint Symbol Using the Symbol Library (AutoCAD Mechanical)

1. Click Annotate tabSymbol panel drop-downGOST Dead Joint. Find
2. In the drawing area, click the joint (start point for the arrow).
3. Click the end point of the leader. The Dead Joint dialog box is displayed.
4. In the library, double-click the desired dead joint symbol.
5. Click OK.
