To Change the Item Number of Multiple BOM Items (AutoCAD Mechanical)

1. Click Annotate tabBOM panelBOM. Find
2. In the BOM List panel, right-click the BOM to edit and select Set current. The icon indicates the current BOM.
3. Click the first Item Number cell, and then SHIFT-click the last cell in the range of cells to edit.
   Note:

   • You cannot select non contiguous rows.
   • To renumber the entire BOM, click the column header of the Item column.
4. In the toolbar, click . The Set Value dialog box is displayed.
5. Verify that the Column box shows Item.
6. To renumber the rows by specifying the starting number and an increment value:
   1. In the Start value box, enter the Item Number of the first row in the range.
   2. In the Step box, enter the increment value.
7. To renumber the rows by adding a fixed value to the existing item number:
   1. Select the Add option.
   2. In the Value box, enter the value to add to the existing Item Number.
8. Click OK until all dialog boxes close.
