To Create a Part Reference With a Balloon (AutoCAD Mechanical)

1. Click Annotate tabBalloon panelBalloons. Find
2. Examine the prompt and verify that the current BOM setting is correct.
3. Enter M to select the Manual option.
4. In the drawing area, click to point the location of the part reference.
5. In the Part Reference dialog box, enter the component property data and click OK.
6. In the drawing area, click at the position to place the start point of the balloon.
7. In the drawing area, click to indicate the second point for the balloon leader, and continue until the balloon is in the location you want.
8. Press Enter to place the balloon.
9. Press Enter to end the procedure.
