Use this dialog box to specify the parameters for the new corridor, including horizontal and vertical baselines, assembly, and target surface.

Corridor Name
-
Specifies the name of the corridor.
Note: To name the corridor, click on its default name and enter a new name or use the naming template.

Opens the
Name Template dialog box, where you can modify the corridor naming template.

Description

Specifies a description for the corridor.

Corridor Style
-
Displays the style that is used to display corridor components, such as region boundaries and assembly insertion stations.

Corridor Layer

Displays the layer that the corridor will be created on.

Opens the
Object Layer dialog box where you can select a different layer for the corridor.

Baseline Type
- Specifies whether the baseline will be comprised of an alignment and profile or a feature line.
- Alignment and Profile: For a
Baseline Type of
Alignment and Profile, use the
Alignment and
Profile lists to select the alignment and profile, or click
to select objects in the drawing.
- Feature Line: For a
Baseline Type of
Feature Line, use the
Site and
Feature Line lists to select the feature line. Select a site from the drop-down list or click
to select an object in the site in the drawing. This selection filters the list of feature lines.
Note: You can leave this as <None> to list the feature lines that are not stored in a site.
Tip: If a feature line is not named, it will not appear in the drop-down list. You can click
to select any feature line (named or unnamed) in the drawing. If the selected feature line is not named, the
Apply Feature Line Names dialog box is displayed so you can enter a name for it.
You can select feature lines that have been created using the feature line creation tools, including feature lines that have been extracted from a corridor. However, feature lines that have been extracted from a corridor cannot be selected for use as a baseline in the same corridor.

Assembly
- Specifies the default assembly. This list displays all assemblies in the current drawing. Select an assembly from the list, or click
to select one from the drawing.
The assembly description is displayed below the list.
Note: The <none> selection creates a corridor that does not have any regions. When Assembly is set to <none>, the Target Surface control is disabled and the Set Baseline and Region Parameters box is cleared. You can add regions and assemblies later.

Target Surface
- Specifies the default target surface for subassemblies in the selected assembly. This list displays all surfaces in the current drawing. Select a surface from the list, or click
to select one from the drawing.
Note: When Assembly is set to <none>, the Target Surface control is disabled and the Set Baseline and Region Parameters box is cleared. You can add regions and assemblies later.

Set Baseline and Region Parameters
- Opens the
Baseline and Region Parameters dialog box, which enables you to specify targets and frequencies, and to add multiple baselines and regions.
