The Navigation panel is used to manipulate the way the model displayed.
The elements of the Navigation panel are described below.
- Select
- The
Select tool is used to define either an injection location or the surface to be used for the pull direction. - Orbit
- The
Orbit tool enables you to change the orientation of a model in a 3-dimensional manner. As you drag the cursor, the model rotates around a pivot point. - Pan
- The
Pan tool enables you to move the model relative to the center of the model pane. With the Pan tool active, click and hold down the left-hand mouse button while dragging the mouse around the model pane. - View Face
- Click on
View Face and then select a surface. The model will be orientated so that the selected surface will presented to the screen. - Zoom
- The
Zoom tool enables you to zoom in and out of the display. With the Zoom tool active, drag the mouse up to zoom in, or down to zoom out. - Zoom All
- Click
Zoom All and the model is scaled to fit into the available window space. The orientation of the model is unchanged. - Home
- The
Home tool centers the model and returns the model to the original imported orientation within the pane.
