The Cutting Condition Names dialog lists the columns displayed in the Wire EDM tab of the Feeds/Speeds and Cutting Data Tables dialog. Use it to customize the tab so that the column names match the names of the machine settings.
To customize the column names:
- Select the CNC-Info > Machine menu option. The Machine Information dialog is displayed.
- In the Machine type list, select Wire EDM and click OK.
- Select the
CNC-Info > Cutting Condition Names menu option. The
Cutting Condition Names dialog is displayed.
- In the
Reserved Word column, select the condition you want to customize, and type the name you want to use in the box at the bottom of the table. The name is displayed in the
Custom Name column of the table. For example:
- Repeat step 4 for each reserved word you want to customize.
- Click OK to save your changes and close the dialog.
- Select the File > Save CNC or File > Save as CNC menu option to save the post file.
The names are displayed on the Wire EDM tab of the Feeds/Speeds And Cutting Data Tables dialog when you next view the stock settings for the post. For example:
