Note: Mesh drawing support is not currently available. If the model from which you are creating a 2D representation only contains mesh data, this process will generate an empty DWG.
To generate a sketch from a model:
- Select
Generate from Model from the
2D Sketch
drop-down menu in Asset Builder.
- Select a location and enter a name for the new DWG file in the Save As window.
- Click Save.
- Click Yes when asked if you want to edit the drawing in AutoCAD.
- Make your edits and save the file.
