Point Cloud Updates and New Features

Point cloud data now syncs between AutoCAD, Inventor, and Navisworks. Factory ribbon updates provide easy access to point cloud tools that simplify viewing and provide greater capture data control:

• Autodesk ReCap launches the ReCap application with tools for indexing, viewing, editing, and managing your point cloud project files.
• Attach lets you insert a point cloud into your AutoCAD or Inventor layout. Point clouds containing Real View data display scan locations that, when clicked, launch a panoramic view of the area in ReCap.

  
  

  
  
  

  

• Real View options control whether point cloud labels and indicators are turned on or off in the display.
