Uninstalling 3ds Max from a Windows OS

You can uninstall 3ds Max from a Windows OS via the Control Panel. If you wish to uninstall several products within a Suite or a Suite from a Windows OS, it is recommended that you use the Autodesk Uninstall Tool.

Depending on whether you want to uninstall the 3ds Max product, several products within a Suite, or a Suite, choose the appropriate procedure.

To uninstall 3ds Max along with other products, or a Suite from a Windows OS, use the Autodesk Uninstall Tool.

To uninstall 3ds Max from a Windows OS 7 Service Pack 1:

  1. Click the Windows Start button and choose Control Panel.
  2. On the Control Panel, select to view the contents by Category if required.
  3. Under the Programs Category, click Uninstall A Program.
  4. Highlight Autodesk 3ds Max 2018, then right-click and choose Uninstall/Change.
  5. Follow the uninstallation instructions.

To uninstall 3ds Max from a Windows OS 8:

  1. Left-click Windows Start screen All Apps Control Panel Programs.
  2. Select Autodesk 3ds Max 2018 and click Uninstall/Change.
  3. Follow the uninstallation instructions.
