Install Maya on a Macintosh without using the Autodesk Installer
Before starting this procedure, ensure that the Maya installation package is on the computer desktop, and you know the hostname or IP address of your license server.
- Run the following instruction, using the correct value for server name. Optionally, you can replace the serial number with another valid value. Note that each argument is preceded by two hyphens, not a long dash.
./setup --noui --serial_number=399-99999966 --product_key=657J1 --license_type=kNetwork --server_name=win-license02
- After the installation is complete, create a directory at
/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/CLM/LGS/657J1_2018.0.0.F.
- In this directory, create a plain text file named
LGS data that contains the following text string:
_NETWORK
- In the same directory, create your license file,
LICPATH.lic, and a plain text file named
nw.cfg that contains the word
done.
