Places and constrains a new component aligned to and coincident with the origin of a selected component within an existing assembly.
- On the ribbon, click
Assemble tab
Productivity panel
Place at Component Origin .
- Click to select an existing component within your assembly.
The origin of this component will be used to align the new component.
- In the Open dialog box, select the component to place.
- Click Open to place the component and close the dialog box.
