Duplicate the Part

In this task, you duplicate the part to make a two cavity tool.

1. Click (Home tab > Mold type panel > Multi-Cavity).

2. Click (Geometry tab > Layout panel > Layout Duplicate).

   1. Select Grid.

   2. Enter 2 rows.

   3. Enter 100 mm row spacing.

   4. Select Edge of selection spacing from the drop down box.

   5. Enter 1 column.

   6. Click OK.

   

3. Click (Geometry tab > Layout panel > Align).

   1. Select X direction as Alignment Direction.

   2. Hold CTRL Key and select both injection locations.

   3. Select Cavity 1/Gate 1 from the Align with part field.

   4. Click OK.
