Options dialog-Language and Help System tab

The Language and Help System tab of the Options dialog is used to configure the language that is used in the user interface.

You can also customize the online help features.

Dialog elements

Dialog widgets Explanation
Language Choose the language you want in the user interface, from the drop down list.
Note: The drop down box shows the languages that have been installed. If your language is not shown in the drop down box, install the appropriate language patch (if it is available).
Help System Online help is selected by default, but you need an internet connection to access it. If you don't have internet access, use local help.

If you have not already downloaded the local help, download it now. You need an internet connection to download it.

By default, the help is installed to:

C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Autodesk Moldflow Communicator 2018.2\help

If you install the local help to a different file location, type the file location here, so the program can find it.

Tooltip appearance
Show tooltips
When you hover over a ribbon button, a short description of what the button appears, describing what it is used for. Change the number of seconds to delay, before this description appears.
Show second-level tooltips
After the first-level tooltip appears, if you remain hovering over a ribbon button, additional information appears for the more complex functions. Change the number of seconds after the first-level tooltip appears, before the second-level tooltip appears.
Introductory Help This group contains options that allow you to specify whether or not you want additional help displayed.
Use Wizard at Start
When this checkbox is selected, the start up wizard is activated the next time you start Autodesk Moldflow Communicator.
Show Help Tips
When this checkbox is selected, Autodesk Moldflow Communicator displays pop-up tips to help you to perform certain actions.
