To change the property type

Use the Change Property Type dialog to change the basic type of an entity.

An imported model can contains a mixture of entities such as a part, insert, feed system, or cooling system. Allocate the correct property type to each of these components.

1. Select the entities of the same type.
2. Click (Geometry tab > Properties panel > Change).

The list of choices that appears depends on the model's analysis technology.

3. Select the applicable property type.
4. Click OK.

Tip: Entities of the same type can be allocated to their own layer
