** ERROR 320004 ** Master barrel cannot refer to itself when injection delay is 'by ram position'.

Explanation

In the Delay timer dialog, you have entered the node ID of the master barrel injection location as the Reference injection node. The master barrel cannot delay its start relative to itself.

Resolution

Enter the node ID of the sub barrel injection location relative to which you want to delay the master barrel injection start.

1. Identify the sub barrel relative to which you want to delay the master barrel injection.
2. In the Layers panel, make visible the mesh nodes layer.
3. Zoom in on the node to which the sub-barrel is attached, and select the node so that it changes color.
4. Open the Geometry tab and copy the node ID from the Selection panel. The node ID is a number that is preceded by the letter N.
5. Click (Home tab > Molding Process Setup panel > Process Settings) to open the Process Settings Wizard.
6. Click Set associated with the Delay timer, to open the timer dialog.
7. Paste the node ID against the Reference injection node.
8. Click OK twice to close the dialogs, and start the analysis again.
