** WARNING 301744 ** The temperature dependency needs to be characterized by rheology testing for wall slip. Wall slip analysis with temperature dependency included may encounter convergence difficulty.

Explanation

The use of temperature dependency ()is not recommended, unless you have characterized your own material, as no reliable data are available at this point.

Resolution

Change the temperature dependency value to zero, or check your material data to ensure the value you have entered is correct. To do this:

1. Click (Home tab > Molding Process Setup panel > Process Settings.
2. In the Process Settings Wizard dialog, click Next if necessary until you find the Advanced options button.
3. Click Advanced options.
4. Click Edit associated with the Solver parameters.
5. Click Edit wall slip parameters, and enter zero (0) for the temperature dependency ().
