** WARNING 301745 ** The pressure dependency needs to be characterized by rheology testing for wall slip. Wall slip analysis with pressure dependency included may encounter convergence difficulty.

Explanation

The use of pressure dependency () is not recommended, unless you have characterized your own material, as no reliable data are available at this point.

Resolution

Change the pressure dependency value to zero (0), or check your data to ensure the value you have entered is correct. To do this:

1. Click (Home tab > Molding Process Setup panel > Process Settings.
2. In the Process Settings Wizard dialog, click Next if necessary until you find the Advanced options button.
3. Click Advanced options.
4. Click Edit associated with the Solver parameters.
5. Click Edit wall slip parameters, and enter zero (0) for the pressure dependency ().
