** WARNING 301743 ** The slip coefficient xxx specified for wall slip is outside the typical range of 10^-16 to 1. Analysis with wall slip on may encounter convergence difficulty.

Explanation

The value you have entered for the slip coefficient () in the Wall slip parameters dialog is outside of the expected range.

Resolution

Enter a value inside the expected range, or use 1e-08 which is the default value. To do this:

1. Click (Home tab > Molding Process Setup panel > Process Settings.
2. In the Process Settings Wizard dialog, click Next if necessary until you find the Advanced options button.
3. Click Advanced options.
4. Click Edit associated with the Solver parameters.
5. Click Edit wall slip parameters, and enter a different value for the slip coefficient ().
