There have been several changes to the way Mold Components are meshed.
- The workflow is now consistent when analyzing using either Cool(BEM) or Cool(FEM)
- Mold components are always listed separately on Study panel for both types of cool.
- When using Cool(BEM), mold inserts and mold surface are meshed as triangles regardless of part mesh type.
- With Cool(BEM), mold inserts are no longer meshed when meshing the part.
- When analysis sequence contains Cool(FEM), mold inserts, heater cartridge, induction coils and mold blocks are always meshed as tetras regardless of the part mesh type.
- Mesh matching is not required for mold components and so this step has been eliminated.
- To accommodate the requirements of the new induction heating feature, the maximum number of enhancement layers has been increased to 8.
- Remeshing of the 3D mold no longer requires the surface mesh to be re-generated.
