Surface meshes can be coarse on edges. Therefore, when there are not enough internal nodes on edges, 3D Flow mesh refinement is poor near edges. The new optimized mesh applies further refinement as the first step of 3D meshing. 3D meshes near edges are improved. So the accuracy of flow and fiber solution is enhanced.
Important: This refinement occurs for 3D meshes only and has no impact on Dual Domain analyses.
