Autodesk SimStudio Tools is an application, installed by default, to create CAD surface and solid models, and simplify or repair existing ones.
Transfer models into SimStudio Tools for modification of the geometry, regardless of the original source of the CAD data, then transfer the modified geometry back again for analysis.
SimStudio Tools are found on the Modify panel of the Geometry tab:
