Improvements have been made to the way chunky 3D models are meshed
- The parameter Maximum allowed edge length through thickness has been replaced by Ratio of maximum tetra edge length in thickness direction to global edge length. Altering the global edge length now does not require the maximum edge length parameter to be adjusted. This option is found on and select the Tetra tab on the Tools panel.
- The default 3D meshing algorithm relied on surface meshing. When applied to a chunky part, large elements were generated. Users can now de-select the option Use surface matching and the 3D mesh will be generated with a new algorithm that does not rely on the surface matching. This option is found on and select the Advanced Tetra tab on the Tools panel
