When you import a model, the default mesh type is now Solid 3D.
When you import any of the following file formats, Solid 3D is preselected as the default mesh type.
- *.ans
- *.unv
- *.bdf
- *.pat
- *.stl
- *.udm
- *.ipt
- *.smt/ .smb
- *.wire
- *.catpart
- *.catproduct
- *.prt
- *.asm
- *.x_t/ .x_b
- *.sldprt
- *.sldasm
- *.3dm
- *.sat
- * .stp/.step
- *.igs
- *.jt
To change to a different mesh type, click the down arrow and select a different option.
