Before running an analysis, parameters for the model need to be set. The status of these parameters are identified in the
Study Tasks pane. A green tick
identifies that the adjacent parameter has been set.
Cloud vs Local solve
The meshing of the part and the running of the analysis can be done either locally or on the cloud. It is possible, for example, to mesh the part in the cloud but run the analysis locally. The Mesh and Analyze options can be set respectively in the or drop down box.
By default, meshing and the analysis are performed locally. Once changed, the last combination of run locations will be used.
When you run jobs on the cloud, if you lose your internet connection, analyses already scheduled will not be affected, and the results can be downloaded when your internet connection is restored.
() to run the analysis.
If the part has not been meshed, two jobs will be launched. One to generate the mesh and one to run the analysis.
As soon as the first set of intermediate results are available, they will be listed under the
Results node in the
Study Tasks pane. Select a plot to view the results.
