Software Dependencies
- Supported Operating Systems – Microsoft Windows 7 SP1 or later (64-bit only), Red
Hat Linux 6.2 (64-bit only), Fedora Core 14 (64-bit only), and CentOS-6.2 (64-bit
only).
- Upgraded to QT 4.8.5 from QT 4.8.2.
- MotionBuilder 2015 and the distributed plug-ins are compiled using Visual Studio 2012.
- Upgraded to PySide 1.2 from PySide 1.1.
- Upgraded to FBX SDK 2015.0.
New Features
- One-Click to Softimage – The FBApplication::OneClickSendAsNewScene() function now supports sending the current scene as a new scene to Softimage.
- Kinect Plug-in – You can capture motion from an actor using the Microsoft Kinect for
Windows device, and use the motion capture data for animating characters. For more

- PyOpenGL Integration – PyOpenGL is integrated into MotionBuilder 2015, and you can
access it from Python using the standard PyOpenGL commands. For more information about
PyOpneGL, visit the PyOpenGL website at http://pyopengl.sourceforge.net.
PyOpenGL Limitation
You can use PyOpenGL to implement a Python custom renderer. However, the PyOpenGL
commands are applied to both the Python custom renderer and default renderer.

The MotionBuilder shelf plug-in is included in <yourinstallationfolder>\OpenRealitySDK\samples\miscellaneous\motionbuilder_shelf. The shelf makes it easy to access the objects that you use frequently in MotionBuilder.
