The LSR file format

The .lsr file which is imported into the DED workspace contains describe the power, speed, size, and location of the heat source used to build the component being modeled. The format of an LSR file is:

Power [ W] X0 [mm] Y0 [mm] Z0 [mm] X1 [mm] Y1 [mm] Z1 [mm] Heat source radius [mm] Deposition speed [mm/s] Start time of laser vector [s]

Below is an example LSR file for a short, 2 bead wide wall:
