Open the Model

  1. Start Autodesk Nastran In-CAD.
  2. From Open dialog, set the file type as Parasolid Text Files. Navigate to the C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\Autodesk\Nastran In-CAD 2018\Tutorial\en-us\Inventor\Inventor 2018 folder and open manifold.X_T.
  3. In the Import dialog box, accept the default settings.
  4. Click File, Save As and save the part as Thermal Stress Manifold.ipt. This allows you to reuse the original part.
