To Share a View from PowerMill

To Share a View

Important: The shared view is created from the current view of the open file. Make sure you are sharing only the information you want to be made public. <PRODUCT> shares all active entities even if they are undrawn. Deactivate an entity if you do not want to share it. There may be differences between the view in <PRODUCT> and the shared view in the browser. Before sharing the link to a shared view with collaborators, check the view in a browser.

1. Open the file you want to share a view of.
2. Click Home tab > Autodesk panel > Shared Views > New Shared View.
3. In the Share View dialog box, specify a name for the view.
4. Click OK to create a link to a visual representation of the file in Autodesk Viewer.

   A pop-up window provides the link to the shared view in Autodesk Viewer. This makes it easy for you to send the link to your collaborators.
