To export a model

You can export models as either Autodesk Manufacturing Geometry files (.dgk, .ddx, .ddz) or as Autodesk Manufacturing Triangle files (.dmt).

To export a model from a project:

1. Click File tab > Export > Export model to display the Export Model dialog.
2. Select the file type using Save as type option.
3. Browse to the directory you want:

   — Click to change the directory to the current Project directory.

   — Click to change the directory to the Examples directory.

   — Click to change the directory to the first user-defined directory.

   — Click to change the directory to the second user-defined directory.

4. Enter a file name, and then click Save
