Configure Precast Structural Slab Assembly Reinforcement

Specify the many reinforcement types for your precast slab assemblies.

Depending on your configuration, area reinforcement populates the slab assembly according to predefined slab thickness values. You change reinforcement settings in the Configuration dialog. Click Precast tab Configuration panel (Configuration) and navigate to the appropriate reinforcement node for your structural slab:

• Concrete Slab Solid Slab Reinforcement

On the Area Reinforcement page of the Configuration dialog, you create, define, and edit reinforcement types for your precast slab assemblies. The reinforcement types are later selected as default reinforcement rules when splitting structural elements.

You can enter the name of a new type in the empty field highlighted with an asterisk. Click Edit on any reinforcement type to modify its parameters.
