Export the current design to a DXF file, and publish it to
Autodesk® Buzzsaw.
- Click File tab PublishDXF to
Autodesk® Buzzsaw.
- In the DXF Publish dialog, for Select Export Setup, select the desired setup.
To modify the selected setup or to create a new one, click
(Modify Export Setup). For instructions, see
Modify DWG/DXF Export Setup.
- In the DXF Publish dialog, specify the views and sheets to publish.
If you want to publish…

a single view

for Export, select <current view/sheet only>.

multiple views and sheets
|
for Export, select <in session view/sheet set>, and then select the views and sheets to export.

- If you are ready to publish, click Publish. (Or click Save Set & Close to save the current export settings and close the dialog without publishing.)
- In the Publish to
Autodesk® Buzzsaw dialog, under
Autodesk® Buzzsaw Sites, select the site to which you want to publish project files.
If you need to add a new
Autodesk® Buzzsaw location, click Add. For instructions, see
Add a New
Autodesk® Buzzsaw Location.
- Enter a name, or accept the default name, for the exported file.
- For Files of type, select an AutoCAD version for the published DXF file.
- For Naming, select an option for the automatically generated file name.
- If you want any
Revit or DXF links in the project to be published to a single file rather than to several files that reference each other, make sure the Export views on sheets and links as external references option is cleared. (The default setting for this option is specified on the General tab of the Modify DWG/DXF Export Settings dialog referenced in step 3.)
- Click Publish.
Revit generates a DXF file and posts it on the specified
Autodesk® Buzzsaw site.
