Schedule View Instance Properties

Modify schedule view properties to change the fields, visual style, orientation, and other properties of the schedule.

To see or change schedule view properties on the Properties palette, do one of the following:

Name Description
Graphics
Visibility/Graphics Overrides This parameter controls the visibility of linked models, nested linked models, and design options. Note that this parameter is only available when either or both of the following are present.
Identity Data
View Template Identifies the schedule view template assigned to the view. Later changes to the view template will affect the view.
View Name The name of the active schedule view. The view name displays in the Project Browser and in the title bar of the view. It also displays as the name of the viewport on a sheet, unless you define a value for the Title on Sheet parameter.
Dependency Either Dependent on <View Name> or Independent. When dependent, the view is synchronous with a primary view. See Dependent Views
Phasing
Phase Filter The specific phase filter applied to the schedule view.
Phase The specific phase of the view. Along with the Phase Filter, it determines which model components (phase-wise) are visible in the schedule view. When you create new model components in a view, these components assume the view phase as their creation phase.
Other
Fields Opens the Schedule Properties dialog to the Fields tab to select the schedule fields. See Workflow: Select Fields for a Schedule.
Filter Opens the Schedule Properties dialog to the Filter tab to filter certain types of information for the schedule. See About Limiting Data Presented in a Schedule.
Sorting/Grouping Opens the Schedule Properties dialog to the Sorting/Grouping tab to specify sorting options for rows in the schedule. You can add headers, footers, and blank lines to sorted rows. See About Sorting Fields in a Schedule.
Formatting Opens the Schedule Properties dialog to the Formatting tab to format each field of the schedule, such as column orientation and text alignment. See About Schedule Formatting.
Appearance Opens the Schedule Properties dialog to the Appearance tab to access graphics and text formatting options, such as gridlines, borders, and font styles. See About Schedule Formatting.
