To Rotate, Pan, Zoom, and use Orbit Mode in Renderview

The Render View visualizes all render settings according to the selected render mode.

Rotate the current camera around a point

Hold down the left mouse button (LMB) and drag.

To set the point, double-click with the right mouse button in the render view.

Pan

Hold down the middle mouse button (MMB) and drag. The camera moves in the direction you move the mouse.

Zoom

Hold down the right mouse button (RMB) and drag. The camera moves forward or backward depending on the direction you move the mouse.

Orbit Mode

Hold down the left mouse button (LMB), pause, and drag horizontally or vertically. A two-headed arrow is displayed when orbit mode is activated. The camera rotates about one axis in the direction you move the mouse.

Hold down the middle mouse button (MMB), pause, and drag horizontally or vertically. A two-headed arrow is displayed when orbit mode is activated. The camera pans in one axis in the direction you move the mouse.

To select Orbit Mode, click Edit > Preferences > Navigator or Interaction > Navigation > Orbit Mode.
