BeginFileDrop Event (ActiveX)

Triggered when a file is dropped on the main application window.

Supported platforms: Windows only

Signature

VBA:

object.BeginFileDrop(FileName, Cancel)

object

Type: Application

An object expression that evaluates to a valid container object. In this case, the only valid container is the application.

FileName

Type: String; input to the handler

The name of the file that has been dropped on the main application window.

Cancel

Type: Boolean; output from the handler

• True: Aborts the loading of the drawing.
• False: Allows the loading of the drawing to continue.

Remarks

No events will be fired while a modal dialog is being displayed.
