Override Material Rollout (XRef Material)

Lets you choose a local material to use on the XRef'd object.
Enable
When on, uses the local material assigned on this rollout. Default=off.

By default, this material is identical to the material in the source scene. You can adjust its settings locally: For example, you can change the Bump and Reflection values.

If you go to the source scene and replace the source material's Diffuse map, then save, the Diffuse map updates in the master (local) scene as well, but the Bump and Reflection adjustments are retained.
