Duplicate an image layer

1. Choose Windows > Editors > Canvas Layer Editor.
2. Select the image layer you want to duplicate.
3. In the editor window, do one of the following:

• Click the copy image layer button.
• Choose Layer > Duplicate from the menus.

  The image layer is duplicated. If the current image layer has an active layer mask, then only the area not protected will be duplicated.

  The duplicated image layer is placed above the original image layer and becomes the active image layer.
