Do you ever feel limited by the rectangular shape of layout viewports? Have you tried creating them in angled, circular or even L shapes?
Here's an example of two layout viewports, one created from a circle and the other from a rotated rectangle, which could be useful for both 2D drawings and 3D models.
While creating rectangular layout viewports is not hard, you've probably encountered situations where a different, nonrectangular shape would have been better, especially when you need an irregular clipping boundary.
