AutoCAD 2018-based and AutoCAD 2019-based products use a different drawing format than AutoCAD 2017-based products and earlier. When sharing drawing files with users on AutoCAD 2017-based products or earlier, you will need to save your drawings to the appropriate drawing file format using the SAVEAS command or another method.
