To Modify Rail Platform Edges

Edit platform edges in your drawing.

Platform edges dynamically recalculate when their parent alignment changes. This includes changes to the profile or cant. The following procedure details how to manually adjust the platform edge.

1. Click Rail tab Platform Edge panel Edit .
2. In the Edit Platform Edge dialog box, you can rename the platform edge or assign it a different profile.
3. Adjust the following settings:
   • Track Gauge
   • Calculation Interval
   • Station Range or Length
   • Side
   • Rail Type
4. Click OK to confirm the changes to the platform edge.
5. Optionally, you can adjust the elevation of the feature line with the Elevation Editor. To open the editor, select the platform edge and click Modify tab Edit Elevations panel Elevation Editor .
