Use this tab to specify options for creating the connected profile.
Note: You can specify default values for the parabola length and K value in the
CreateAlignmentConnected command settings. The default style for connected profiles is the profile style that is specified in the
CreateProfileLayout command settings.
- Create Profile for Connected Alignment
- Creates a profile for the connected alignment.
Connection 1 Profile- Specifies which profile should be used for the Connection 1 alignment.

Connection 2 Profile
- Specifies which profile should be used for the Connection 2 alignment.
Profile Name- Specifies the default name template for the connected profile.

Profile Style List - Displays the current style. Click the arrow to select another profile style in the drawing.

Style Detail -
Opens the Style Detail dialog box where you can preview the profile style.
- Parabola Settings

Specifies how the geometry of the parabola is defined. Select either Length or K Value and enter a value.
Note: After the connected profile is created, this value can be changed on the Connection Parameters Tab of the Profile Properties dialog box.
