This tool attempts to find an optimal orientation/rotation of the object, considering three different factors:
The tool computes a number of discrete orientations with different tradeoffs between these three factors. Each orientation is represented as an arrow and a set of bars that shows the relative values of the three factors. Click on an arrow to choose that orientation for your object.
Overhang Angle determines at what angle from vertical a portion of the model is tagged as an overhang (see the Overhangs topic for more details).
Enter numeric values in the Factor Weights section to adjust the priority of the different factors.
