Synopsis

hide( [objects] , [allObjects=boolean], [clearLastHidden=boolean], [clearSelection=boolean], [invertComponents=boolean], [returnHidden=boolean], [testVisibility=boolean])

Note: Strings representing object names and arguments must be separated by commas. This is not depicted in the synopsis.

hide is undoable, NOT queryable, and NOT editable.

The hide command is used to make objects invisible. If no flags are used, the objects specified, or the active objects if none are specified, will be made invisible.

Do not change visibility, just test it (returns 1 is invisible, 2 if visible, 3 if partially visible).
