To select the Generic Shrinkage model

The Generic Shrinkage model was used until the introduction of the 3D Uncorrected residual stress model.

Note: Make sure you have a 3D model, and that you select an analysis sequence that includes Warp.

1. Click (Home tab > Molding Process Setup > Process Settings).
2. If necessary, click Next until you reach the page with the Advanced options button.
3. Click Advanced options.
4. Click Edit associated with the Molding material.
5. In the Thermoplastics material dialog, select the Shrinkage Properties tab, then select the Generic shrinkage model model from the Select a shrinkage model (3D) drop-down list.
