Tips for constraints-Fixed Constraint

This tool allows you to constrain locations on a model before setting a load and running a Stress analysis.

To access this tool, click (Boundary Conditions tab > Constraints and Loads panel > Constraints > Fixed Constraint).

The Fixed Constraint command is used to constrain all degrees of freedom at the selected location(s). Select the location(s) to be constrained with the mouse, click Apply, and the fixed constraint(s) will be displayed on the model.
