Loads-Point Load

This tool allows you to define loading conditions on a model before running a Stress analysis.

To access this tool, click (Boundary Conditions tab > Constraints and Loads panel > Loads > Point Load).

The Point Load command is used to apply a point load to selected location(s) on the model. Specify the force to be applied in each direction, and the rotation moment, or force applied to the selected location(s) that produces bending around the axis, in each direction.

Note: The load is applied in the global coordinate system unless a local coordinate system has been defined and is active.
