Filling Control Profile Settings dialog

Molding Process: Multi-Barrel Thermoplastics Injection Molding
Dialog location
Click (Boundary Conditions tab > Multiple Barrel panel > Set Locations), click Edit, then click Edit profile associated with Filling control.

All solver parameters have a default value that is suitable for most analyses.

Dialog element Explanation
%Ram speed vs %stroke Controls the speed of the ram (flow rate) as a function of the ram position (stroke)
Import profile To help speed up data entry and minimize errors that might occur during manual data entry, you can now import tabulated data from *.csv files.
Plot profile See a visual representation of the profile by clicking the Plot Profile button.

Note: This entry is required for the analysis to succeed.
Starting ram position
Cushion warning limit
A cushion warning limit can be entered, but it does not affect the profile.
Starting ram position
Enter the starting ram position for your machine. The default position is 500 mm
