To close the injection location after packing

You can set an option to open or close the injection location after packing, for models with Midplane meshes. For models with 3D meshes, the injection locations are automatically closed after the pack stage of the analysis.

1. Click (Home tab > Molding Process Setup panel > Process Settings).
2. Click Next to advance to the Compression Settings page.
3. Select or clear the Close injection location after packing check box.
4. When you have finished all of the compression settings, click Finish.
