To select a fiber mat composite material

For a warp analysis in RTM, select the fiber mat composite material as you specify the process settings for your analysis.

This topic assumes that you have selected RTM as the molding process.

1. Click (Home tab > Molding Process Setup panel > Analysis Sequence), and select a sequence that includes Warp.
2. Select all the preform elements on your model, right-click and select Properties from the drop-down menu.
3. Select the Composite Properties tab.
4. If you have not entered any composite materials into a personal database, accept the default material, and click Cancel to close the dialog.
5. If you have created, or imported, a personal database with fiber mat composite materials, click Select to open the Select Fiber mat composite (3D) dialog.
6. Next to , click the down arrow and switch from the System database to your User database.

   All the materials in the User database are listed in the table.

7. Select the material you want, and click Select.
8. Click Edit to edit the material, or OK to accept it and close the dialog.
