Dispensing data dialog

Use this dialog to set multiple dispensing passes in your underfill encapsulation analysis. Set the number of passes, the length of time for each pass, and the volume to be dispensed in each pass.

To access this dialog, click (Boundary Conditions tab > Dispensing panel > Set Controller). Click New, or select an existing start node dispensing controller and click Edit. In the Dispensing controller dialog, click Edit data.

Click in the relevant cell to enter data. To delete a row of data, highlight the row and press Delete on your keyboard.

Dialog elements

Widget	Explanation
Dispensing volume per pass	For multiple dispensing passes, specify the volume of material you would like dispensed in each pass. You can choose an absolute volume or a %Part volume.
Start time / End time / Pass volume multipier	For multiple dispensing passes, specify the start and end time for each pass, in seconds. Start Time Enter the start time for the dispensing path. The start time for one controller must be zero. For multiple dispensing paths, enter each start time on a new row. Ensure the start time for a subsequent dispensing pass is after the end time of the previous pass. End Time Enter the end time for the dispensing path. For multiple dispensing paths, enter each end time on a new row. Ensure the end time for each dispensing pass precedes the start time of the next pass. Pass volume multiplier Each pass can have a different dispensing volume. Use this multiplier to produce the actual dispensing volume for each pass from the Dispensing volume for each pass entry above. If the multiplier is 1, then 100% of the dispensing volume is used in that pass. If that value is 0.8, then only 80% of the dispensing volume is used.
