To run a preconditioning analysis, the preconditioning data need to be specified.
The preconditioning analysis is supported for reactive molding processes. These instructions assume that you have set up your analysis appropriately, according to the requirements for the molding process you have selected. If this is not the case, search for the appropriate molding process in the help and follow the setup procedures you find there. To run a preconditioning analysis:

Next, if necessary, until you reach the page with the
Preconditioning analysis option.
- From the
Preconditioning analysis drop down menu, select
Perform preconditioning analysis.
- Click
Edit data.
- Enter data in all the elements in the
Preconditioning data dialog, then click
OK.
- Click
Next until you reach the final page of the
Process Settings Wizard, then click
Finish.
Note: For reactive compression molding, the data can be specified in either the
Process Settings or in the elements, themselves. When the data is specified in
Process Settings, the code uses contact conditions to automatically apply temperature boundary conditions.
